First look at the PricePact comparison experience

This first progress entry captures the working demo homepage and the visual direction taking shape around a clear, search-first comparison experience. It is a working product rather than a static concept page: every button has a specific purpose and is connected to a real interaction or user flow, including search, navigation, category browsing, personalization, product selection, comparison and retailer actions. Behind the interface, we have built a structured product database and a matching system that can recognize equivalent listings from different retailers and bring them together as one comparison-ready product. A dedicated content-feed API supplies catalog information, product details, prices, availability and retailer data, giving the platform a foundation that can grow as more retailer connections are added.

UI and design notes

The interface uses a calm dark foundation with PricePact's purple and blue accents to keep the search journey prominent. Country context, quick-search suggestions and horizontally scannable product cards create a clear path from discovery to comparison. Placeholder products keep this early update focused on layout and interaction while live retailer data is still being prepared.

These notes describe development progress and direction. They are not launch promises, and unfinished functionality may change as we test it.
